The actor – who has been married to Pinkett Smith since 1997 – advised the humorous anecdote throughout an look on the Graham Norton Show whereas selling his new movie King Richard, in which he portrays the daddy of tennis stars Serena and Venus Williams.

“I said, ‘I promise you it’s funny, maybe not now, but one day this is going to provide us with years of joy,’” recalled the actor.
“We have been together for 27 years and she literally hasn’t chuckled once.”
