Queen Elizabeth II stayed in a single day at a hospital after canceling her journey to Northern Ireland earlier this week.

“Following medical advice to rest for a few days, The Queen attended hospital on Wednesday afternoon [October 20] for some preliminary investigations, returning to Windsor Castle at lunchtime today, and remains in good spirits,” Buckingham Palace stated in a press release on Thursday, October 21, per royal reporter Omid Scobie.
