Piers Morgan to reunite with former GMB director on new show for Rupert Murdoch’s TalkTV


Piers Morgan will reunite with his former Good Morning Britain colleague Erron Gordon for his new TalkTV show.

Earlier this month, it was introduced that Morgan would be joining the new TV channel that’s being launched by Fox News proprietor Rupert Murdoch. Morgan’s primetime show will air weeknights within the UK, US and Australia.

The show will probably be directed by Gordon, who was accountable for launching GMB and Peston on ITV. He will be a part of News UK Broadcasting as government inventive director and head of studio output.

Discussing Gordon’s appointment, Morgan stated: “I only want the very best working on my new show and after the five years we spent together on Good Morning Britain, I know Erron is the most talented TV director in the country.

“I’m absolutely delighted he will be joining us on this exciting new challenge.”

Gordon stated that the chance to work with Morgan once more was “impossible to resist”.

As nicely as his primetime show, Morgan has signed a wide-ranging deal to be a part of News Corp and Fox News Media.

At the time, he stated that he was “thrilled to be returning to News Corp, which is where I began my media career more than 30 years ago”, including: “Rupert Murdoch has been a constant and fearless champion of free speech and we are going to be building something new and very exciting together.”

The TV presenter left ITV earlier this 12 months over a row about feedback he made concerning the Duchess of Sussex.

Morgan stated that he hadn’t believed a phrase of what Meghan had stated about her psychological well being in an interview with Oprah Winfrey.
