KARACHI: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Ramiz Raja Tuesday presided over a high-level assembly to overview arrangements for the upcoming season 7 of the Pakistan Super League (PSL).
The first section of PSL-7 is scheduled to start out from January 27 in Karachi.
High-ranking officers of the Sindh authorities, district administration, police and the National Stadium had been current in the assembly.
Ramiz Raja discusses PSL arrangements with PM
On January 1, PCB Chairman Ramiz Raja had referred to as on Prime Minister Imran Khan in Lahore to debate arrangements for the upcoming season of the PSL beginning January 27.
During the assembly, PM Imran Khan gave his nod to the development of the state-of-the-art cricket stadium in Islamabad.
According to the main points, the prime minister gave in-principle approval for the development of a cricket stadium in Islamabad and directed the PCB chairman to utilise all of the sources to finish its building as quickly as doable.
When approached, Ramiz Raja had stated the efforts can be maximized to finish the development of the stadium by 2025, enabling Pakistan to organise Champions Trophy matches on the newly-constructed venue.
