Lata Mangeshkar was taken to the intensive care unit of Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital, on Tuesday after testing constructive for COVID-19. The legendary singer can also be present process therapy for pneumonia, information company ANI reported. The 92-year-old singer will likely be stored commentary for the following 10-12 days, ANI reported. Dr Pratit Samdani, who’s treating Lata Mangeshkar at Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital, stated, “She has both COVID-19 and pneumonia. Due to old age, it will take time to recover properly,” reported information company ANI.

After the singer was admitted to the hospital, Lata Mangeshkar’s niece Rachna confirmed to NDTV that she was affected by delicate Covid and was within the Intensive Care Unit. She additionally added, “Keep her in your prayers. Your prayers are precious.”

Lata Mangeshkar’s musical gems want no introduction. She has sung in Hindi, Marathi, Bengali and different regional languages. She has been honoured with the Bharat Ratna, Padma Vibhushan, Padma Bhushan and Dadasaheb Phalke Award in addition to a number of National and Filmfare Awards.

Lata Mangeshkar started singing to assist her household after the loss of life of her father Pandit Deenanath Mangeshkar 1942. He was a classical singer and theatre actor. In Bollywood, Lata Mangeshkar bought her first main break with the track Dil Mera Toda from the 1948 movie Majboor. However, her track Aayega Aanewaala from the film Mahal (1949) turned her first main hit.
